First time we had this wine was in one of our fav restaurants. It was lower priced and we liked it instantly.
Now the past few times they have been out of it? So I buy it by the 6 or 12 bottle case to enjoy at home. Love the taste and the 2010 is on par with 09. Give it a try.
Pretty nice, medium body. This wine is not great, but very enjoyable.
Silver Palm has an interesting by line. What started out as restaurant exclusive, gained much popularity and is now available for individual purchase. This is a great price as well. I opened a bottle for my dad, who compares all cabs to J. Lohr. He was impressed. The wine is dark ruby in color, serious legs, and firm tannis. The taste is cherry tart, mint leaf and full oak flavor. Its more like a Bordeaux than a true North Coast red wine. Its a versatile dinner wine, try it with roast pork with sauerkraut and potatoes or a sirloin burger with pepper jack cheese and bacon.

Cabernet Sauvignon is dark ruby in color, with aromas of Bing cherry and cassis. Flavors of menthol, spice and oak with round firm tannins lead to a soft, silky, lingering finish.
