The La Valle Cabernet Sauvignon bursts with lush black fruit and intense cassis flavors that compliment the baking spice and vanilla aromas. Structured tannins and a long finish make this unmistakably a California Cabernet that can be enjoyed immediately.
Style wise, it's close to AVA or central coast. Balance with medium bright fruit forward. close to medium finish with pleasant after taste.
For 6.97 I will drink this any time any day!!!
Please remember you are paying $6.97 not $45 Big napa bomb
My family definitely did not like this wine. Tastes more like red wine vinegar. Certainly not a Big napa bomb as stated above (or is it). It certainly bombed with us.
Based on earlier reviews I purchased this wine. This by far was the worst wine I purchased from WC. To their credit they were very co-operative in allowing me to return this shipment. Someone at WC should take this off the market
Terrible. Had few sips and threw out the rest.
did not like this wine at all
So, in the picture, one on the left is a bottle from my previous purchase(invoice dated: 12/26/2011) and the right is recent one(invoice dated: 12/15/2011)
THEY ARE TOTALLY DIFFERENT WINE. THOUGH SAME LABEL SAME CORK, SAME VINTAGE BUT one on the left is the bottle that I fell in love with and the one on right is sour group that everyone's been complaining about...
Honestly, I do not know what to make out of this but...... I guess 'we' as consumer must be aware...
Again and again, I feel awful that my review lead my fellow wine ppl to feel deceived..... sorry guys and gals.
EVERYONE MY DEEPEST APOLOGY,
My initial purchase(batch i guess) was perhaps.... mistake or real...
I did purchase another case few days ago and it was nevertheless sour grape.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED...
REPEAT... NOT SAME.....
Hi Hyun, sorry you had an unpleasant experience with this wine. You are more than welcome to return this wine to Wine Chateau and they will refund you in full. Sometimes the wine can go bad during transit. Sorry for the inconvenience.
This cab sucks badly. Do not go there!
Hyun - no idea what you tasted, but I just bought 12 bottles of "barely better than vinegar". This stuff is terrible.
Great buy if you eat alot of salads.

Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the world's most widely recognized red wine grape varieties. It is grown in nearly every major wine producing country among a diverse spectrum of climates from Canada's Okanagan Valley to Lebanon's Beqaa Valley. Cabernet Sauvignon became internationally recognized through its prominence in Bordeaux wines where it is often blended with Merlot and Cabernet Franc. From France, the grape spread across Europe and to the New World where it found new homes in places like California's Napa Valley, Australia's Coonawarra region and Chile's Maipo Valley. For most of the 20th century, it was the world's most widely planted premium red wine grape until it was surpassed by Merlot in the 1990s.
Pair this wine with anything from an elegant duck dish to hearty barbeque pork ribs delicious.
