Product is not as shown -- it is a screw top, not a cork. This is the second time this has happened with wines purchased from your firm. How is it that the bottle is photographed differently than as delivered?

This wine is delicious. We also were concerned about the screw top. Made no difference.

In a mixed case I received 3 Bottles of the 2012. Have just finished the first and placing order for a case. Can't beat this price for taste and value. Could pass for a $20 Malbec.

I got the screw top and was concerned, but the taste was as described. Easy to drink and easy to open! A good value for a nice wine

For a Malbec lover this is a great deal. Not much money for a lot of wine!! Let it breathe for an enhanced flavor.

This wine is very delicious as most wines from Argentina! Great taste, fruity flavor and you can't beat the price I would highly recommend it.

Have to echo Geo. N. on the screw top--- good question BUT the taste was as described in the notes. Better than what was expected for a $7.97 wine. Great color, hardly any tannin after taste, no noticed astringency.

Notes on the La Consulta Malbec 750ML 2012

Technical Notes The most planted grape in that country, varietally-labeled Argentine Malbecs are one of the wine market's great values, prized for their slight herbal component and dark, luscious fruit. Structurally, Argentina's Malbecs are much different than those grown in the grape's native France; they are riper, fruitier and fleshier. In France, the best iterations of Malbec can be found in the Cahors, where it can be quite decadent. It is also planted in the Loire Valley, where it is called Côt and is often blended with Cabernet Sauvignon or Gamay, and in Bordeaux, where it has fallen from favor in many of the region's great blends because it is difficult to grow.
