I cracked open a few bottles at a party last week and the comments were all positive, even from my friend, a Merryvale fan. It went well with the hickory smoked ham and my mom's tuscan chicken and lemon thyme potatoes. It has a pear and apple taste, a little bit of grapefruit. I served it chilled and it was lip smackingly crisp and refreshing.
