Why don!t you quit advertising something you are not shipping. What you ship is not Kentuckjy Straight Bourbon, 86 proof, or aged 5 years. What you ship is a Blend -, 51% Kentucky Bourbon aged 36 months blended with 49% Neutral Grain Spirits.bottled at 80 proof. Comparable to blends that sell for Less than $10.
The bottles I received were not as advertised. The labels state " Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey A Blend" not " Straight Bourbon Whiskey Mild and Mellow" as shown in the ad. I'm disappointed.
Mattingly & Moore was the first "registered" Distillery in KY -- was produced in Louisville on Main Street pre Civil War--moved to Bardstown on what is now the Barton Distillery/Tom Moore Area-- and is also part of the Willet Distillery heritage.
I thought the company just did wine when they went legal. Glad to see the name again. I'm a Mattingly grandson.
One of the first products out of the Mattingly & Moore distillery was Mattingly & Moore Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Fast forward to today, Mattingly & Moore is now owned by someone else, but it is still getting produced more than a century later. Aged five years and bottled at 86 proof, it lives up to its tag line of, “Mild and Mellow.” Some people might find it too basic, though people who like their bourbon uncomplicated will truly enjoy Mattingly & Moore.
