Not sure if you are the right people to ask about this but;
I have a 12 oz bottle of Ballantine Burton Ale,'brewed especially for Phillip P Gray
on May 12, 1946
Bottled November 1964
It belonged to my late father, Ralph Marks, and was evidently given to him at a Christmas party in 1964...it has been refrigerated, unopened, continuously, since that day...perhaps you might advise me of its' value, if any, and who might be interested in it.
Ballantine`s Finest is the 10th largest spirit brand in the world. Distilled and crafted in Scotland for over a hundred years, the Ballantine`s family includes a brand to suit any consumer - young or old, male or female, casual or connoisseur. The heritage of Ballantine’s Scotch Whisky can be traced back to the year 1827, when farmer’s son George Ballantine set up a small grocery store in Edinburgh. From there he began to supply a select range of whiskies to a distinguished clientele.
