A replica of the original flask discovered on the site of the battle of Jarnac, the LOUIS XIII decanter is an icon at the four corners of the world. Its rounded shape highlighted by its fleurs de lys, royal signatures at the very depths of the crystal, give it a unique expression. Each decanter is individually numbered. The youngest eau-de-vie in this legendary blend is 50 years old. 100% Grande Champagne. Amber color. Harmonious, hallmark bouquet of blue cheese-like rancio, truffles, roasted chestnuts and prunes; the aroma stays firm and concentrated through 10 minutes of nosing. Accessible, satiny smooth at palate entry, then at midpalate the flavor profile turns semisweet, profound and pruny. Finishes gracefully, almost like a ghost on the tongue. Lovely.
I have an original unopened bottle with the crystal top with it. It is ina green felt box. Does anyone know about this one? I don't see anything on line about the green felt box?

why this one is 750ml? What's different with louis xiii grande champagne 700ml? is it the same one.Is there anyone can send me some photos?
Hi Yan, I'm sorry but I don't believe that is a such thing as a 700ml size. There is only 50ml, 750ml & 1.75liter sizes available for this product.
I also have a 700 ml bottle of this. Stamped right on the bottom. D7230 is the engraved number for the bottle. It is probably close to 40 years old. art
This is the cognac if you have to drink cognac I bought only two bottles in my life time. I do not drink cognac but if have to and have the money this is the one
ok this question is for real. In the 1980's I had a cognac, do not know the name of it but I do know the bottle was round and the neck of it was twisted. Could this be the one you are talking about?
i have a fully sealed bottle from the thirties that my grandmother use to vaginally pleasure herself with if any one is interested in the bottle with accompanying photographs please let me know

There are more than 250 discrete flavors that an attentive taster might identify, but never all on the same occasion. Each encounter with Louis XIII will be a fresh discovery.
Since 1724, the House of Rémy Martin has been driven by one quest - to capture the Heart of Cognac: Fine Champagne Cognac. Grapes from the most sought after vineyards, which offer the greatest ageing potential, longer maturation in oak casks, and the Cellar Master's savoir-faire combine to reveal a cognac of unique aromatic intensity: Rémy Martin Fine Champagne Cognac.
