Dewar’s White Label is a sophisticated blended Scotch whisky that’s honeyed and spicy, yet light and smoky. Taste the smoothness that could only come from 40 of Scotland’s finest single malts and grain whiskies and over 150 years of bold, Dewar’s Scottish tradition.
The nose reveals a dry, earthy whisky with accents of toasted grain offering scents of corn and oats with accents of caramel, toffee, and vanilla. Medium-bodied with a grain centric core, toasted bread, leather, mineral, and black pepper.
Technical Notes John Dewar started the family business. He was one of the first time men to blend whisky and soon built Dewars reputation for fine whisky. Born in 1805 to a humble farming family, John dewar grew up in Scotland, near the small town of Aberfeldy.
John Alexander built the Aberfeldy distiller in 1898, so he could insure the quality and taste in Dewars whiskies. Aberfeldy is the only distillery built by the Dewar family, and it’s still the single malt at the heart of all Dewars blends.
