A warm nose of spiced citrus and sweet pastry aromas. Light and crisp in the mouth the flavors are distinctly spicy with a touch of sea salt. The finish is laden with light coffee, cinnamon and orange zest.

I often like to enjoy Chivas with a nice cigar. Hold all the other Scotches, just get me Chivas with my cigar and I'm a happy camper.

F. Paul Pacult-Kindred Spirits “Chivas’s top-notch character is at once powerful and understated; hats off to the Chivas master blender; this is Scotch blending at its near-best.” **** Highly recommended
The Chivas brother’s fame spread repidly and in 1843, they were awarded the first of many Royal Warrants to supply goods to Queen Victoria. At the time, Scotch whisky was popular, but not as we know it today. Whisky was often drunk without the benefit of long ageing it oak casks, making it a somewhat unrefined taste.
In the 1850’s James Chivas saw an oppeortunity to create a style of whisky that would please his more discerning customers combining soft grain whisky and robust single malts to create a Scotch whisky that was both well balalnced and smooth.
When it launched 1909, Chivas Regal was the world’s first luxury whisky. The 25 year old luxury blend, created for the sophisticated palates of America’s East Coast high society, swifty won its first international following. There had never been a whisky like it. Such was its success that, within months, demand outstripped supply.
