A suave and smooth mix of Dufftown and Speyside Scotches. The burnished copper spirit has lively orange peel, butterscotch and baking spice notes and a buttery finish. Good value. -K.N.
Due to its outstanding taste and iconic, triangular bottle shape, the deliciously complex and smooth taste of Grant's Blended Scotch Whisky is all down to the remarkable, different way we have made it from a recipe created more than 100 years ago by William Grant.
Passed down from generation to generation, today it is the expert skills of our Master Blender David Stewart, along with a family of craftsmen, who keep alive William Grant's pioneering spirit and his passion for blending the finest whisky.
Excellent initial impact, banana and vanilla sweetness with a malty bite that is rounded with dust and smoke. Gets complex, thickens out after swallowing, which is unusual. Long earthy finish with a persistent but gentle sweetness.
