Certainly a good scotch nice and smooth. I got it for a friend and he absolutely love it.
A good value for an absolutely wonderful single malt. Smooth and richly balanced with a very satisfying nose. Love it.
Very good single malt. Not smokiest, but flavorful. Very smooth! If you love scotch this brand is a must for your bar.
I am trying to buy the two-bottle case of Balvenie 15 year Scotch, and it indicates free shipping, but every time that I get ready to check out, it tries to charge me over $14.00 to ship. What can I do? Is there a promo code for the free shipping?
add a note on your order that the eMail said free shipping and you will not be charged. Worked for me.
Balvenie is one of those Single Malt brands for me that is purely finesse. Consistency is always amazing with a lot of character. This Single Barrel that I often buy has a great honey and vanilla nose which I love. Great value for the price. Cheers.
NOSEFragrant aroma of vanilla, honeyed sweetness, hints of heather and dry oaky notes.TASTERich and complex, suggestive of years of careful ageing, it has a honeyed maltiness with vanilla, oak flavours and delicate spice notes.FINISHLong and complex with a hint of liquorice.
The oldest Balvenie released in 2008 was The Balvenie 1964, Aged 43 Years. Cask number 10378 yielded just 151 bottles, the single malt having reduced to a cask strength of just 41.3% abv since its distillation on 18th November 1964. The Balvenie 1964 has an amazing depth of flavour, characterised by sweet infusions of dried tobacco leaf and rich fruit cake, complex layers of dried fruits, ground coffee, walnut, and elegant oakiness. The Balvenie is a unique range of single malts crafted by Malt Master David Stewart. Each is unique, but all are rich, luxuriously smooth and underpinned by a distinctive honeyed character.
