Lovely fresh yet deep nose, with vanilla, toast and some sweet honeyed fruit. The palate is crisp, with lemony freshness and good acidity, as well as warm, nutty vanilla flavours. Great balance here with good complexity.
A harmonious blend of nearly 40 crus from the Champagne region, the Chardonnay (approximately one-third of the total), Pinot Noir and Meunier crus constitute a palette of colors which, used in masterly strokes, will produce "the Pommery style”, a style of natural elegance. To remain faithful to the style, Pommery can draw on its reserves, juggling with several vintages. Brut Royal requires three years of aging in the cellars to allow it to reveal its finesse, spontaneity and charm, the very qualities that make Pommery Unique.
Color: Light gold
Nose: Fresh and lively, an attractive hint of citrus fruit
Palate: A bright and fresh attack, resoundingly dry, mellowing into a balanced supple fruitiness. Slowly it reveals itself until the airy finish, which leaves a desire for more.
