First tried this at an upscale Japanese/sushi bar. Had to have more! Found it difficult to find in stores. This is our new favorite. This wine is very light, sweet, crisp plum flavor that goes great with anything at anytime. We like it best well chilled. Shared our case with many friends who we wanted to know and love this wine and it left an impression on every single one! Now they are hooked and in need of more. We have had other plum wines, this is by far the best and at this price, you really are getting a unique treat.
Takara Plum Wine is my absolute favorite dessert wine. But even though it is considered a dessert wine, it's perfect for any occasion, particularly wonderful as a sipping wine. The flavor is fantastic, unlike any other sweet wine you've tasted - it's a WOW! sensation in your mouth... almost like the plum fruit flavor explodes in your mouth, then lingers deliciously until your next sip. Very light viscosity. Beautiful golden color. You have got to try this wine. It will hook you... for sure.
This is one of my favorite wines! If you like a sweet wine that is pleasant to those not use to wines this is for you. There is little after taste and it has a wonderfuly playful flavor! I have found this wine at Shogun, and many other Japaneese eating establishments. It is so good many of my friends refer to it as Koolaid! Try a bottle and enjoy!
