A light-weight, delicate bubbly, with floral and apple notes married to a lithe and lively profile. It has moderate length. Ideal as an aperitif. Drink now. Score: 88. —Bruce Sanderson, November 30, 2006.
(50% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 15% Pinot Meunier; 12 g/l dosage; L63PA113459): Light gold. Aromas of ripe citrus and orchard fruits, with suggestions of green tea and honey in the background. Supple and open-knit, with pliant pear and orange flavors picking up a touch of bitter herbacity with air. Closes on a spicy note, with good energy and a lingering note of white pepper.
Fresh and crisp, this is bright with acidity as well as warmer fruitiness. It brings out the dry Laurent-Perrier style, balanced by soft creamed apples and fragrant acidity. Light and fruity at the end, it is ready to drink.
Delicate yet complex nose, with hints of citrus fruit, and a good balanced palate.
Brut non-vintage is always the expression of the House style and, as such, it is the signature champagne. Laurent-Perrier Brut’s style is defined by its very high proportion of Chardonnay which provides a natural purity, freshness and elegance. These essential characteristics, expressed in all our champagnes, are a good introduction to the spirit of Laurent-Perrier.The Laurent-Perrier Brut also benefits from ideal ageing in the cellars: three years minimum for a 75cl bottle, and four to five years for a magnum. Its balance and natural freshness are enhanced by a light dosage. After the dosage, the wines are kept in the cellar to rest for several months before shipment
Perfect as an apéritif, it also goes very well with food.
