Bunratty Mead is a traditional wine, produced from an ancient Irish recipe of pure honey, fruit of the vine and natural herbs. It's a medium sweet wine, with a wide taste appeal, and suitable for all important occasions. As the drink of the ancient Celts, Mead derives much of its appeal through Irish Folklore, which is legendary of this mystical drink with strong attachments to Ireland.
Excellent!!! We brought a bottle back from Ireland and have been wanting to get more for quite a while. I finally found it here at your store, so this is where I will be getting my supply. Great price, great service. Thanks a bunch!
Awesome! Tried other brand mead to try to bring back the taste of our trip to Ireland, but others fell flat.
It's deliciously sweet with a punch at the end.
Just returned from an awsome trip to Ireland, and of course attended the Bunratty Castle banquet where I bought a small bottle of mead. I stashed it in my carry on, and sure enough Irish security confiscated it, which made for a depressing trip back...until I found Bunratty Mead at the Wine Chateau. Delicious drink...! Thank you for your prompt service and good prices!
I just want to say Thanks - You are a Great Company - I have recommended your Store to all my friends
All the stores in Ireland had this mead from Bunratty. On our last stop in Ireland we finally got some. It was DELICIOUS!!! The 1 liter bottle was gone soon after it was opened. If you enjoy sweet-sweet wines, then this white wine based mead is for you.
Recently returned from Ireland, and attended the Bunratty Castle Banquet. The drink of choice was this wonderful meade, with a sweet taste to tantilize the taste buds. I really wanted to purchase this wine as a souvenir, but could not pack it in my luggage. I am so glad to see I could purchase it here at winechateu.com at a reasonable price, without the worry about storage in my luggage. If you want a wine that goes down easy, and knocks you on your bum, this will do the job.
Technical Notes Bunratty Meade is surely the drink of passion. First discovered by Irish monks in the middle ages, Mead was believed to have the magical powers of virility and fertility. In ancient times it became the custom for the bride and groom to drink Mead for one full moon after their wedding, hence the term "Honeymoon" still used today. Bunratty Meade, the result of marrying pure honey and the fruit of the vine together with selected herbs recreates this legendary wine.
