Schramsberg Vineyards Mirabelle Brut
Mirabelle Brut is a unique blend of hand-harvested Napa, Sonoma, and Mendocino countyChardonnay and Pinot Noir, picked at their optimal maturity from select, low-yielding vineyards.Throughout the growing season the grapes are constantly cooled by the breezes coming from thePacific Ocean, which adds to the potpourri of flavours that unfold in the future.

During harvest, these premium grapes are carefully sorted and placed into small bins to reduce anypossible damage. The grapes are then pressed to provide superior quality juice for the production ofMirabelle Brut. After the primary fermentation, the base wines are allowed to rest in our coolunderground cellars. Between 20 to 30 percent of these wines are barrel aged for two to six years. The various still wines are then individually evaluated and carefully blended by our winemakers toundergo fermentation in the bottle. After bottle aging on the yeast for at least two years, MirabelleBrut is ready to be enjoyed.

The non-vintage Mirabelle Brut white is sourced from Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino and Marin County and is made from 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir. The blend of young and older wines gives it a creamy richness, with lots of ripe peach and honeyed brioche, backed up by a medium-bodied, crisp, fresh, pure, dry sparkling wine that offers well-defined, small bubbles. This is a beauty to drink over the next few years.
