Cocoa butter and candied grapefruit peel set the stage for cherry blossom, crushed chestnut, brown sugar and stewed cherry to shine through. Very structured and textured on the palate which lends a hand to the delicately honeyed and almond-tinged finish.
I bought this after reading the book "Hunted" by Kevin Hearne. I have to admit, it met my expectations of a fine whiskey - smooth and satisfying.

Tullamore Dew was first distilled in 1829 in the small town of Tullamore, Ireland. The slogan "Give every man his Dew" appeared on the bottles for many years and is still featured on the unique Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey Crock - a ceramic crock filled with the original blended Irish Whiskey, sealed with a cork and with its own porcelain stopper. Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey Gifts are crafted from the finest ingredients, triple distilled and patiently aged in oak casks and are easy sipping spirits with a subtle maltiness and a smooth lemon grass finish. The brand is the proud recipient of a gold medal in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
