Full-bodied wine with dark red color. Inviting aromas of ripe red and black fruit (cherriesand black raspberries), with a hint of spicy oak vanilla character. This approachable winehas delicious flavors that are bright with fruit, balanced with soft, velvety smooth textures,and enhanced with sweet oak aging. The finish is soft and full on the palate.
Wine Maker Notes
Harvest was during the months of September and October 2006. The must was fermentedfor 5–7 days in stainless steel tanks with two different strains of yeast. The Talus Collection2006 Cabernet Sauvignon is 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 15% Syrah.
