Concha Y Toro Merlot Sunrise

Ruby, with a violet shade. Blackberries, pepper and soft mint. Fresh, soft, elegant and well balanced. The grapes for Sunrise Merlot are grown in the Central Valley, the heart of Chile`s wine-growing area. The grapes enjoy a long growing season, with warm days and cool nights - a combination that favors the refreshingly fruity forwardness of the grapes and the intensity of the flavors in the wine. Round and full-bodied, this Merlot is excellent with beef, lamb and veal dishes.


Nose: Cherry, pepper and soft cacao aromas.
Taste: Elegant, round palate with good body and persistence.

Harvest: Hand picked and mechanical harvest in April.

Soil: Alluvial and colluvial.
Aging: 90% in stainless steel tanks for four months and 10% in three years old medium toast French oak barrels for four months. .
