Piccini Prosecco Extra Dry 750ml

Piccini Prosecco Extra Dry

The Piccini family are fourth generation wine producers based in the Chianti region but here, they have branched out to the Veneto, further north. The result is an award-winning Prosecco that captures lovely ripe pear fruit flavours together with a really delicate, delectable fizz. Serve chilled, with a plate of antipasti for truly happy results.

The Piccini Prosecco is intensely fruity with rich scents of apple, lemon and grapefruit with a pronounced aroma of wisteria and acacia flowers. The floral aromas mix with a pleasantly bitter citrus rind note that is inherent in the Prosecco fruit. The finish is vivid and fresh with a fine, persistent perlage.

Prosecco is a fantastic wine food. It pairs well with antipasti, from olives to aged cheeses to roasted peppers or marinated artichokes. Prosecco is also wonderful with freshwater fish and seafood.
