Bowmore Scotch Darkest 86@

Bowmore Scotch Darkest 86 has a appearance of a ruby red color. Also having a full body. smells of salt, seaweed and smoke. Tasting rich and with a sweetness. Finishing off very soft with a slow warmth.

Built: 1779. Current Owner: Suntory Production Capacity: 2,00,000 liters. House style: Smoky, salty and sometimes with a perfumed character. Located in the town of the same name, on the shores of Loch Indaal. Bowmore distillery was awarded 'The Distiller of the Year Award' by the International Spirits Challenge in 2000. The spirit that flows through its stills is one of the most lightly peated of the Islay whiskies.
