After the grape harvest and fermentation the wines are distilled 2 foldly in the traditionally pot still method (Charentais). Only the heart of the distillate is used for the noble cognacs. The following maturity period in small wooden barrels guarantees the firm flavors, the intense color and the wonderful, mature wood notes.
Notes of almond, candied orange and licorice with hints of vanilla and nutmeg
Golden color to this Brandy with edges of copper. The nose is bombarded with a fragrance of dried fruit. The small size of the oak barrels provides a wood character. Nuances of nutmeg and licorice lift the smooth finish.
