This Grappa is very common in Italy. I first had it at a number of restaurants in Florence and Cortona. I was very pleased to find it at Wine Chateau because though common in Italy, it is very hard to find in the states. It is smooth, with a very nice finish that includes the mildest touch of anise and very friendly grape aromas. If you are looking for a real taste of Italy at a great price, this is your Grappa. It is, as with most any Grappa, best enjoyed straight in a Grappa glass, or perhaps in the occasional Cafe Corretto.
