Frequently Asked Questions

What does Remy Martin XO Excellence Cognac taste like?

Remy Martin XO Excellence Cognac shows ripe plum, fig and candied orange, lifted by jasmine and iris. The palate feels silky and full-bodied, with toffee, roasted nuts and cinnamon before a long, warming, elegant finish.

What does Fine Champagne mean on Rémy Martin XO?

Fine Champagne means the cognac blends eaux-de-vie only from Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne, with at least half from Grande Champagne. Rémy Martin XO uses roughly 85% Grande Champagne, which adds finesse and ageing potential.

How old is Rémy Martin XO?

Rémy Martin XO blends up to 400 eaux-de-vie. The youngest are at least ten years old, as XO rules require, while the oldest reach around 37 years, giving the cognac its remarkable complexity and depth.

How should I drink Rémy Martin XO?

Sip it neat in a tulip glass at room temperature. A few drops of water can open up its floral and spicy aromas. It also pairs beautifully with dark chocolate, aged cheese or crème brûlée.

Where can I buy Remy Martin XO Excellence Cognac?

You can buy Remy Martin XO Excellence Cognac online at Wine Chateau, which offers the 750ml bottle with secure checkout. Customers must be 21 or over, and shipping costs and options appear clearly at checkout.

Worse yet

Ordered on 6 January. Didn't receive until 22 January. Called on the13th and was told it would be shipped on 15th. Called again on the 20th. Told it was shipped on the 20th and she hung up on me. Didn't receive shipping information until the 21st. The worst customer service experience to date. Totally unsatisfactory

Boyfriend loved the set especially the smaller bottle. I was impressed with the packaging and care to keep the bottles intact. Only suggestion would be to have faster delivery.

First time buyer

At first I was hesitant to buy, I read some other reviews and was confident that I would receive my purchases. It took a few days 4-5 for my order to be processed then I got shipping notification. It was 2 weeks before Christmas though. I then received my items 3 days after, fast shipping! I feel I can trust this supplier to buy again, and they do have a great selection. Items are very nicely packed and labeled fragile.
Thanks!

Item is 5 star all by it self small bottle was loose so I taped it.

Fed ex came on a holiday left note, but I was home they need to knock louder. I decided to have it delivered a one of their pickup sites near me but they forgot to notify me that the tag number was changed, I brought all my paper work with me for pick up and I was able to get it.

Smooth

There was about a month's delay between ordering and shipment. However, the packaging and wonderful cognac came through unscathed.
