Sells for 10 bucks in some stores. Many So. American cabs under $10 are way better. Looks like they slapped thier label on some run of the mill plonk.
Admittedly a low price point cab, but massive fruit with almost no underlying structure.
Good color but finish is rather weak...perhaps some aging will smooth out this wine.
I doubt aging will help this wine. There is so little tannins that aging will likely just turn the fruit bitter or sour.
This is a luscious and dependable Cab. It really is of exceptional quality for the price
Wine Maker Notes
Our Louis M. Martini 2012 Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of the unique characteristics from several vineyards, creating a superbly balanced Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine has ripe flavors of black plum jam and black currant, a reflection of the warmer vintage. Hints of oak and a touch of baking spice support the fruit.
Californian Cabernet Sauvignon specialist. This Martini family has been creating superb red wines in the beautiful Napa Valley since 1933 and this one is a classic. Darkly spiced and superb with good steak.
