Orange-pink. Bright, mineral-driven aromas of blood orange, lemon and green apple, with notes of chalk and quinine adding vivacity. Firm and tightly wound, offering zesty citrus and orchard fruit flavors and a kiss of bitter redcurrant. Closes with dominant citrus flavors, very good clarity and lingering florality. -Josh Reynolds
Very fragrant, boasting rose, violet, red berry and peach aromas and flavors. Opulent, even creamy, with underlying acidity that freshens the finish and a subtle aftertaste of fruit and spice. Drink now through 2012. –BS
Nice pale rose colour with tiny bubbles. Strong red fruit aromas on the nose On the palate, fruit is dominant too with vivacity and a hint of acidity. Supple and round.
The balance between the dominant Pinot Noir and the smaller percentage Chardonnay gives this wine its beautiful pale rose colour and its delicate notes of red fruits, strawberries, raspberries, wild strawberries and black currants.
