(Great Value,Tried & True Award)- Dry, restrained nose with some herbs and a hint of orange peel. Rich, with plenty of corn sweetness and impressively long, rich flavors. The tannins and spice on the finish cleanse the sweetness from the palate.
Golden and bright, this straight Bourbon whiskey is one of the most versatile around. Though it starts with a sweet flavor profile with hints of vanilla and cookie dough, it finishes supple and dry, with notes of leather, black tea and cinnamon. Bracing alcohol levels. - K.N.
This bourbon is on the sweeter side. It does still have the usual oak floral vanilla flavors but they are very subtle in comparison to other bourbons. For the price its not bad. I really wish they would stock the rye version I have seen much better reviews on it but it costs to much at the store to try.
Medium amber in color, with gentle spiciness and sweet oak aromas. Mid-palate is smooth with tones of maple, oak, and nutmeg. Finish is long, dry, and satiny with a light toffee flavor.
Bulleit Bourbon is distilled and aged in small batches and stored in a single-story warehouse which reduces inconsistencies in the maturation process. Bulleit Bourbon is aged in American White Oak barrels that are flame charred, giving the bourbon some of its colour and flavour. It is aged not a drop less than 6 years, creating maturity and smoothness. The final, 90 proof product is formulated by mingling, not blending, two and sometimes three of the distillates to ensure consistency in the nose and taste.
