We too had our first taste of this wonderful liqueur while visiting Italy. Our waiter was nice enough to serve us a complimentary glass at the end of a wonderful dinner in Venice. Both my wife and I instantly liked what we tasted. The lemony flavor made the grappa dance. When we returned to the States we were delighted to learn that we could buy it here. I agree that it is best served chilled but in our case we found that 45 degrees--the temperature at which we keep our white wines--was cold enough. Be advised that this little beverage packs a pretty big punch so it's best to serve it in a cordial glass. We haven't tried it over sorbet or mixed with something else but rest assured it is fine consumed all alone at the end of a nice dinner.
My Husband brought some back from Italy, we had to find more. It has such a wonderful lemon flavor. Make sure you serve it VERY cold or you can really taste the alcohol in it.
wonderful! Bought our first bottle in Italy and was happy to be able to buy more. It's great alone or on ice cream/desserts/fruit. Great lemon taste.
Is the Bottega Limoncino available for free shipping? We have always purchased in case sizes from you in the past Thanks, Harry Graham
This is the best! Bought it first in Italy, looked for more, had to have it. Makes a great innovative gift. No one in our area has ever seen it before.
