This Malbec is produced by the good folks at San Pedro Vina in Chile, that put out the famous Gato Negro value line of Chilean wines, however the harvest in this case is Argentinian. So in reality this is considered an Argentinian wine under supervision of a Chilean producer.
Tasting Notes Deep red color with intense violet tints. Fruity aromas, full of blackberries, blueberries and plums define the nose. A soft, rich mouth-feel with sweet, subtle tannins, lead to a round, lingering finish.
Technical Notes Fermentation/Maceration: In vats with controlled temperature, 7 days, at 24°C.Maceration: 14 days. 100% Malolactic Fermentation.Ageing: 10% of the wine in contact with oak during 3 months
Food Pairing Great to match red meats and pasta with tomato sauces. Serve at 15°-17°C.
