i had no clue what it was. i won it in cancun doing a kareoke contest back in 95. is it still ok to drink? and please don't judge me LOL
Xtabentun is our favorite drink from the Yucatan. We first tried it at a tourist store on 5th Avenue in Playa Del Carmen. If you like anise, or black licorice, you will truly like this. It is a subtle licorice flavor with a smooth honey aftertaste. Meant for sipping, not as a shot.
Do you ship to the UK ?
Can you ship to Australia and do you take paypal for payement.
Can you ship to Australia.
Xtabentun is great stuff. We first drank it in Cancun. Sort of like a smoother, slightly sweeter Sambuca -- you can really taste the honey overtones. Wish I could have brought more back from Mexico. At least with Wine Chateau, we have a source now.
is it possible to pay with a visa in euro?
Yes, Wine Chateau does accept international credit cards.
I drink Xtabentun every time I go to the Yucatan, and always bring some home; but I always run out before I can go back. So thank you to Wine Chateau for being one of the very few places in the USA to get it!
d'Aristi is a good brand, consistently smooth and tasty. If you like honey and licorice, you will love Xtabentun!
Vibrant yellow with a bright greenish hue. Concentrated anisette from beginning to end; finishes with a thick, rich honey. Chocolaty and warm, with a minty middle. A well-made, well-balanced product. Great with espresso or cappuccino.
D'Aristi Xtabentun is a distinctive Mayan liqueur made in Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula and hard to find elsewhere.
Named for the small flowers from which local bees derive their nectar, Xtabentun is blended from rum, fermented honey, and anise. Most often enjoyed straight, this comforting yet refreshing spirit is also delicious in coffee or mixed with tequila and lime juice.
