I first tasted this wonderful single malt in Edinburgh last August at the Scotch Whiskey Experience...Glenmorangie was hosting a tasting of several single malts. I was captured at the first taste! This is the finest whiskey I've ever had!

This is a truely unique Single Malt. Unlike any Single Malt I have had in the past. You can read the professional reviews, but it has to be tasted to be appreciated
This is one of the most interesting flavor profiles you will ever drink in scotch, and smooth as silk to boot. When it was $250 I thought it was steep, but now that you can find it at $150ish buy it. It's a great addition to any whisky collection or gift to someone who appreciates the finer things in life. It's one of those rare spirits that hits on all cylinders from the nose to the finish.

The technical notes provided here are incorrect, they refer to the Glenmorangie Pride 1981, which was a very limited run. Quoted directly from the distillery's website:
"A fusion of unique and rare elements, and clouded in secrecy, Signet is the culmination of a lifetime's experience. A blend of our oldest whisky - distilled over thirty years ago when malting still occurred on site - and spirit matured in a selection of the world's finest casks, this undoubtedly is the richest whisky in our range. Of course, whilst the exact secrets of its production are known only to our whisky creators, we can tell you that Signet's melting sweetness and explosive spiciness is, at least in part, caused by our unique roasted 'chocolate' barley malt and the 'designer casks' made bespoke for Glenmorangie from American white oak. Non chill-filtered."
whats the weight of this with box to be taken as check-in to India
Spectacular. Delicious scotch with a flavor of mocha. And the price on winechateau is the best I have seen. (equal to the cost at duty free in Europe---including tax/ shipping). A great drink for special occasions.
I first tasted this Scotch at a Scotch bar after a golf outing in FL. I finally decided to spend the money and I ordered a bottle for Christmas. VERY disappointed. This wasn't even close to the Scotch I had at the tasting.

the best scotch i have ever tasted ~~~ so far. try it with a chocolate desert and see how the dark roasted malt makes toffee and coffee explode out of this outstanding scotch.
