The region of Ribera del Duero is located in Castilla León, with a continental Mediterranean climate. Thanks to these very particular meteorological conditions, the grapes have the high quality that characterizes the wine of this region. Although the Tempranillo grape variety is overwhelmingly the most cultivated, other varieties such as Cabernet-Sauvignon, Merlot, Red Grenache, Malbec and White Albillo are also present. Basically, only red and rose wines are elaborated. The Ribera del Duero area has a long tradition in the winemaking and the vines are already part of the landscape as well as the culture of this region.
Tasting Notes This wine has an intense cherry colour, with a lively and fresh tonality. It manages to elegantly combine the intense varietal tipicity with the diversity in tanic shades that arouse from the new oak wood of the barrels. It is wide, well structured, persistent and with soft tannins.
Food Pairing This Ribera del Duero wine matches perfectly with every kind of meats and well-seasoned stews.
