The scotch is great. It was nearly impossible to get it delivered. Fed Ex would not leave it without a signature and I work one hour from my house so could not be there to sign. The driver left a door tag which did not tell which location to pick it up so I first went to the one I always go to for packages and it was the wrong one. Next it took three trips driving to the other Fed Ex location before I actually was able to pick it up. Twice I was told over the phone to pick it up and after driving to the terminal it was not there.

Technical Notes The Macallan is a brand of single malt Scotch whisky first distilled in 1824 at The Macallan Distillery near Easter Elchies House, at Craigellachie, in Moray. The Macallan is currently distilled and bottled by The Macallan Distillers Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Edrington Group which purchased the brand from Highland Distillers in 1999. The distillery produces a number of expressions in its core Sherry Oak series, the most generally available being the 12-year-old, although the 18-year-old is widely distributed, alongside a 10-year-old cask strength expression at 58% ABV. Expensive 25- and 30-year-old versions can also be found.
