In this special wine the Sangiovese from the Chianti hills encounters two international grape varieties which have found a new home in Tuscany, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Modus was first produced in 1997 and is the latest arrival among the top quality wines marketed under the "Tenimenti Ruffino" brand. It is also the only Ruffino wine that is a blend of three grape varieties.
Modus is the result of the combination of Chianti Sangiovese with two varieties originally from France and with a new homeland in Tuscany: Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon.
