VineyardsSonoma County`s coastal climate, soils and complex terrain of small valleys, benchlands and hillsides interact to create prime conditions for growing grapes. This diversity of growing conditions enables several grape varieties to excel in the region, including Cabernet Sauvignon. For this bottling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes were selected from vineyards in the Alexander Valley, Knights Valley, Sonoma Valley and Dry Creek appellations of Sonoma County to craft this superior Cabernet Sauvignon.WinemakingThis wine consists of Cabernet Sauvignon blended with Merlot (3%) and Cabernet Franc (2%). Each component was aged separately for 18 months in French and American oak before blending. Once the barrel selection was made, the wine was assembled and bottled.
