We crafted this wine to exhibit the fine qualities of California Pinot Noir, marrying the varietal’s vibrant fruit character with good palate weight, depth and complexity. Following harvest, we fermented the grapes in 100 percent stainless steel, which focused the fruit flavors and maintained the bright acidity. We then aged the wine for six months in 100 percent French oak to integrate the flavors, weaving in warm baking spices and adding structure and depth. The wine shows a fine balance of aromas and flavors with an inviting approachability.
