Fine and persistent foam with violet hues, this wine is rich ruby red in color with garnet reflections, particularly along the rim. Fruity aromas of red berries intermingle with spicy notes. On the palate, persistent semi-sweet fruit flavors come through. It is nicely balanced by light tannins.

Grown in calcareous and clayey soil, the wine is hand harvested and then vinified in stainless steel tanks, with maceration at a controlled temperature. The wine’s fine, persistent froth is developed through a natural re-fermentation known as the Charmat method. With a bouquet of red fruits and spices, this dry, sparkling wine features semi-sweet fruit flavors that are nicely balanced by light tannins. It should be enjoyed chilled and pairs well with cured and roast meats, as well as pasta with a Bolognese sauce.
