A blend of fruit from traditional South Australian vineyards, particularly in McLaren Vale, the Barossa and Langhorne Creek. Shiraz was selected for its concentration of flavour, rich yet elegant structure and long balanced tannins. Aromas of blackberries, mulberries and dark chocolate dominate the nose with hints of liquorice and spicy oak adding complexity and layered flavours.
Shiraz matches well with lamb, burgers, game, casseroles, roast beef and aged cheddar cheese. President’s Selection Shiraz is great with spicy turkish lamb pizza or dry aged beef fillet with sauteed spinach and mash.
