Deep, young colour with purple tints. It has a very expressive nose of black fruits, blackberry jam associated with toasted and spicy notes. On the palate, the attack is unctuous, and fleshy leading through to a smooth and remarkably well balanced wine. The finish displays notes of butter and toast with an outstanding freshness.
Merlot, Cabernet, Tannat and Syrah with average vine age of 27 years, planted on rolling hills with sand, clay and limestone soils. Each variety is picked and vinified separately in stainless steel vats after being destemmed and lightly crushed. Postfermentation lasts for around 10 days and the wines undergo malolactic before being blended and aged, partially in barrel.
