What a wine, such color and expression of earthy notes. When compared to the '98 Tre Vigne the '05 is more robust and flavorful. Comparing the two side by side shows that the Tre Vigne's orange hues, earthy notes and mouth watering finish are undeniable. I've bought a case of both the '98 and '05 Tre Vigne along with a case of the standard Travaglini Gattinara '04 and love them all. For a modest price this is a speciality wine that always hits the spot. A personal favorite.
this wine is produced only in the best vintages. A deep pomegranate red wine; delicate fruity fragrances, warm, remindes jam, plum and tamarind. Fullbodied, soft, silky tannins, with a long smooth finish
