Aromas of nutmeg and red pepper with notes of violets and sweet spices. The palate is intense, withsmooth, friendly tannins and pleasing, well-balanced acidity that leads to a refreshing finish.
(90% Carmenere/10% Petit Verdot). The vineyard is located in the Aconcagua Valley, planted mainly on alluvialsoil. The grapes were hand-picked, crushed and fermented in stainless steel. Alcoholic fermentation was carriedwith twice daily pump-overs. Because the grapes are from different blocks of the same vineyard, post-fermentationmaceration time varied from 10-26 days depending on the development of each lot. Aged 8 months in French andAmerican oak.
