This vintage of Cristina shows very intense aromas of blackberry and dark fruits, with hints of fresh plums from the Pommard clone. The palate is deep, savory and mouthwatering, with notes of sandalwood and spice from the elegant oak. The tannins are rich yet supple, making it a lovely wine to drink right now but also ensuring a long aging potential.
I ordered this for our Christmas party in December and we couldn't get enough compliments from our guests about this wine. I have ordered another case. Top notch!
one of the best pinots i'v tasted. It's a $50 for $22,plus free shipping. will be ordering another case this week.
I ordered six bottles of this wine. I opened one bottle on Christmas Day. This is one of the worst wines that I have ever drank. I asked my family and guests to take a sip and share their thoughts. Everyone who tasted said it was simply AWFUL. I sent the remaining five bottles back for a refund.

Sorry to hear your experience with this wine. It could be possible that the bottles you received got spoiled during transit.
Wine Maker Notes
Nestled in the rolling hills of western Sonoma County, the Russian River/Green Valley appellation is a perfect microclimate for growing Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Only 10 miles from the Pacific Ocean and 50 miles north of San Francisco, the site is influenced by the sea's cooling breezes and drifting fog. That is why Marimar Torres selected this privileged location to "export" the Torres family legacy of fine wines to California.
Named after my daughter, Cristina, this wine is a special selection of 20 barrels from a unique blend of our Pinot Noir clones that we feel best represents the terroir, or personality, of the Don Miguel Vineyard. Named after the late patriarch of the Torres family, this organic vineyard is located in the Green Valley — the coolest, foggiest region of the Russian River, only ten miles from the Paci?c. The European-style high density of over 2,000 vines per acre provides low yields and requires intensive labor; but the vines live longer and the grapes acquire greater concentration and ?nesse, more elegant aromas, and be" er balance.
