Branko Friulano 2010 750ml

Branko Friulano

Nuanced and complex aromas of sliced peaches, almonds and light caramel precede a solid core of fruit that is balanced by ample notes of minerals and spices with a slight hint of bitter almond on the finish.

Nuanced and complex aromas of sliced peaches, almonds and light caramel precede a solid core of fruit that is balanced by ample notes of minerals and spices with a slight hint of bitter almond on the finish.

Genuinely Friulian, by history, lineage and emotional resonance, the Friulano grape keeps its pledge to deliver a generous, warm drinking experience to which time adds personality and new dimensions of sensory gratification. The instantly recognisable array of bitter almondsedged aromatics frames an outstandingly fresh-tasting palate, the result of maturation in stainless steel subtly enhanced by a small proportion of wine conditioned in 400-litre oak casks.

Estate fruit was fermented in stainless steel (90%) and 500 liter French oak barrels (10%) and aged for seven months.
