Colour: Straw yellow with light coppery hues
Nose: Fragrant, intense and complex with notes of wild flowers and ripe pear with a finish which is characterised by hints of bread crust
Palate: Delicate and fragrant, tasty and harmonious with a long lingering after taste.

Location: different vineyards in the Collio areaAltitude: 45 to 100 m. above sea levelExposure: North, north-west and southSoil: The clayey soil of the Collio DOC area results from the disintegration of the stratified marl and sandstone in the subsoil. It is rather marly in the higher areas and has a finer composition at the foothillsMicroclimate: Mild temperatures with rainy springs and warm, dry summersVine planting system: Double GuyotVine planting density: 4000 vines per hectareAge of the vineyards: 10 to 22 years

Vinification and Ageing:
Manual harvest in 18-kilos cases.After a brief cold maceration the grapes are soft-pressed and cold filtered. Alcohol fermentation without skin contact, in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, for approx. 10 days. The wine rests on the lees though the winter, then is bottled the following spring.
