Finca de Arantei Single Vineyard Albarino was fermented and aged for 5 months in stainless steel. Mineral and lemon scents inform the nose of this round, rich, spicy offering. Nicely proportioned and mouth-filling, it is an outstanding value for drinking over the next 3-4 years. " 90 Points
Tasting Notes Tasting Notes Pale straw lemon in color, this wine displays refreshing aromas of peaches, apricot, jasmine tea and wet stone. On the palate, the flavors are equally rich and complemented by vibrant acidity, long length and lasting finish. This wine is perfect with artichokes, asparagus, shellfish or grilled fish, salads and vegetable frittatas.
Wine Maker Notes Unusual for the DO of Rías Baixas, Finca de Arantei has crafted a singleestate, 100% Albariño wine. Situated in the heart of the Miño Valley in the subzone of Condado de Tea, these estate vineyards are characterized by poor, rocky soils and low yields. In addition, the vines are now 25 yearsold, which adds to the wine's intensity and concentration. After fermentation, the wine ages on its lees in stainless steel for five months before release.
