These biologically sound Vinya Laia has a beautiful deep ruby color. The smell and taste are aligned with lots of ripe dark fruits such as berries, blackberries, plums and even fig. Combined with a bit of earthiness, tannins and of pepper from the Cabernet Sauvignon . Just good and very sturdy.
Rich notes of black fruits and tobacco intertwine with hints of oak on the nose. Well-balanced with excellent structure. The tannins are soft and rounded that linger on the palate.
Try with grilled lamb and hearty stews. Stands up to strong, aged cheeses as well.
