The 2006 Dromos is the finest wine this property has produced to date. A big, exuberant red, the 2006 Dromos flows with masses of dark fruit, herbs, minerals and French oak. With some time in the glass, the wine’s inner perfume emerges, adding further complexity. The tannins build on the finish, and the wine needs another year or two in bottle but it is a delicious example of Maremma in this important vintage. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2016.
