Deep garnet with crimson hues. Effusive black cherry, Dutch chocolate and currant complement the spicy, peppery notes of toasted sweet oak. Opulent dark fruit, soft velvety tannins, ending with a long, rich finish.
Our Keyes Canyon Ranches are located in Paso Robles, 20 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean. After sunset, temperatures drop as marine fog sweeps in, lingering until dawn. These cool evening and warm days create a longer growing season, allowing grapes to ripen to perfection. We employ artisan winemaking practices such as gentle pressing and small barrel aging to craft world-class, deeply concentrated and intensely flavored wines.
