The second wine of Haut-Bages Libéral, made from younger vines. This is fresher and lighter, but still carries the hallmarks of Classic Pauillac and Haut-Bages Libéral: ripeness, elegance and fine tannins.
Fermented in stainless steel and aged for 12 months in French oak, the wine displays dark berry fruit, with rich round tannins and a lengthy finish.
(80% Cabernet Sauvignon/20% Merlot). Hand-picked grapes from younger vines that are an average age of 15 years old are planted in gravel and clay soil.
