Tasting Notes A polished and elegant red thatoffers lovely cherry, blueberry and black current elements with a mineral edge. The finish is longand complex pulling together ripe red fruit elements with hints of dark fig, earth and mocha.
Technical Notes A blend of Grenache, Mourvedre, Syrah, Cinsault, Clairette with a little Muscardin and Vaccarese.The Grenache was sourced from old vines (some as old as 100 years) and the fruit was harvestedand sorted by hand. The grapes fermented for 2-3 weeks with regular pump overs and the wineaged for 18-20 months on its lees in tank (80%) and in barrel (20%).
